Personal History

**UPDATE 11/12/15**I am an 18 year old high school GRADUATE* from Mankato, Minnesota. I live to ride anything, I ride a lot of bmx with friends during the summer. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 4, and have been riding bicycles since i was 2. I race hill climb in the summer and ride a local motocross track. I wrestle in the winter and ride snowmobile occasionally with some of my family. I was previously riding a yz 85 and racing a Kx 85 as well as a ktm 200. I now ride a yz 250f and race a 2 stroke Kx 250. My mom and dad have struggled to keep me racing, and they are doing everything they can do. I work at a swine farm to help make it to my races, but overall looking for sponsorship as a little support.

Riding Goals

My goals for this year would most likely be very consistent. At the races, I have tried to make every run count, putting my best effort forward and giving it my all. I would like to try to get another title in 200 class next year. Over the last 5 years of racing, I have not placed lower than 4th in points standings and I hope very much to be able to keep it up. Looking forward I feel that with support in my racing could put me at the top of the 200 class.

Competitive Highlights

Starting out in 2008, I was hill climbing a kx 60 in an 85 jr. class. The end of the year, I placed 3rd in district 23. Then in 2009, I began racing an 85 as well as my 60. In the 65cc class that year I finished 4th overall, and on a kx 85 I finished 2nd . That same year I competed in my very first National Hillclimb event in New Ulm, Minnesota where I earned a respectable 10th place on 85. The following year, we made a big jump switching from the 60 to the KTM 200. This year was my highlight year, with my first ever 1st place. I finished 3rd in that class and 4th in the 85cc sr. class. 2011 was a really eventful year with my family and I traveling 15 hours to race in Oregonia, Ohio for nationals. I raced my 85 and also my 200. I made my parents proud and earned myself 2 nationals 4th places. I had a really good year locally also, Wisconsin series was my career high, winning a series on a bike that I couldn't even touch the ground on. In Minnesota I had a consistent season with two 2nd places. The 2012 season, was an intense year, I won the first race of the season on 200. I won many races on 85. I led 200 series the whole year until the last 2 races. Although I did not win 200 class, I did manage to sneak a title in 85cc class in Wisconsin. Nationals were hosted in Bay City, Wisconsin. This was a two day event with one run per bike the first day and another the next. My first ride on 85, left me the only rider to get a time, which put me into first place. The end result pushed me into third, but still was my most memorable experience. I cannot forget the feeling of being on that podium for the first time.

2014 updated: This past summer has been quite amazing. I have raced against some of the best riders in the country. This summer brought me to some new heights, specifically placing second in the 200 class, only losing the national title by 2 tenths of a second. In addition to my second place national title, I held the first place position in points for the 200 class for the majority of the season not placing less than 3rd the entire season.

2015 updated: A new summer brings new memories I can say. This summer i proceeded to win a District 16 Wisconsin hill climb championship in the 200 class. Some highlights of my summer included back to back wins in the 200 class at 2 different race events in one weekend. My past accomplishments allowed me the opportunity to borrow a CR 500 from some hillclimb friends and place first out of 30+ riders and make it into the King of the hill (ten fastest riders of the day) for the first time in my career. Then traveling from Minnesota to Kansas for their Kansas State Championships with only my KTM 200 and winning the two-day event in not only ONE, but TWO different classes, the 250 four-stroke and 250 two-stroke classes and had the great fortune of a 2009 Yz450f being donated to me by a man by the name of Charlie Baldridge. I ended this year with 2 Kansas State Championships, a Wisconsin State Championship, and a 3rd place Minnesota Championship on my 200. I feel that with a little extra help I could be on top!
