Personal History

I have enjoyed the sport since i was 6 years of age, after high school i spent eight years in the Marine Corp., mainly on the west coast and then in Okinawa Japan. Afterwards i attended Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix AZ. working at Screwie Lewie,s Motosports and desert racing on the weekends in the Whiplash Motorsports desert series. Moved back to Michigan in 1998 and currently working as a Maintenance Coordinator over seeing two facilities.

During the summer we practice at three differant tracks, race at a couple of local tracks and also the faircross events throughout the summer.

My love for the sport is shared with my wife and son, where ever we are on a track for practice, racing, or loading up they are there supporting me not to mention my wife always getting to the mail box first to read the new magazines.

Tyler my son always goes for ride on the quad before ending the day on the track and has a true passion for the sport already, This year he is 2 years old and we just purchased a jr 50 for him to start getting a real taste of the sport this year.

Riding Goals

My goals for this year is to push myself further mentally and phisically then ever. I plan on competing in races on the local tracks, local faircross races and attending district 14 races. I have always competed in motorcycle events only and this year i plan on breaking into the atv scene and pushing it to the limits.

Also racing and riding has always been a family sport, and with my son it will be teaching him how to ride this year so he to can join us on the track and in the trails, mainly by giving him a good example as he grows into the sport and life.

Competitive Highlights

I believe the biggest high light to date would be desert racing in the Whiplash motorsport desert series placeing 8th in 88 in class, being a Michigan native and doing it in the desert.
