Personal History

I am Jason Brinker. I'm 37 years old, married (Amy) with 1 child (Bella),  self employed and a Christian. I have owned an architectural design firm for 13 years. since I have been in business for so long, I know what it takes to promote a good business and my self. I always treat everyone with the utmost respect. When I tell someone that I will do something....I do it!
I started riding motorcycles in 1978 with my dad. We mostly road woods and then I moved towards motocross in 1984. Like most racers, my first attempts at racing were not very good. My nerves got the best of me and I crashed a lot. After a couple of years started putting things together pretty well. In 1986, I advanced to a 250 and raced in the C class for about a year and found myself winning quite a bit. Eventually I got bumped to the B class and stepped up my racing program. While in this class, I won quite a bit. I won the National Amateur Motor sports Enterprise state championship in 1992.

While qualifying for the nationals in 1992 I had a severe crash that ended my career for a while. 13 years to be exact. In 2005, I began riding again and then racing some. I am now racing quite a bit. I have just moved in to the lead of the Southern Motocross series in the Vet 35+ class.

Riding Goals

This year my plan is to race mostly AMA district 29 races. I will be racing the Carolina Ultra Series in the 30+B class. In order to compete more seriously, I will step up my training and practice schedule. I fully intend to qualify for the regionals and then hopefully for Loretta's. To do this, I have secured a mechanic to help in the effort.

Competitive Highlights

I won the National Amateur Motor sports Enterprise state championship in 1992. I finished 27 out of 53 racers in the Yadkin Valley Stomp GNCC. This may not seem like a highlight, but it is. The reason, my bike wouldn't start at the line and I finally got it started after 2 rows had already started. This means that I had to pass approximately 100 riders just to catch my class.
