Personal History
I live in western Wisconsin and mostly race the Minnesota district 23 Enduro and hare scramble series. This year I raced open B in both series and won the 2008 open B Enduro championship and am currently in second place in the hare scramble series with one race remaining.
I enjoy working with new riders especially children getting them into the sport and teaching them to ride responsibly and be active in keeping our riding areas open. This is one area I feel every rider should work hard at to help assure opportunities in off road recreation remain available to everyone.
Riding Goals
My primary goal is to help the sport grow by helping to introduce new riders both young and old to the sport and teach them to ride responsibly as well as be active in working for our rights as riders. I do this not only by working with multiple clubs to help put on races but try to help at the kids events at all the races I attend. I also further this effort by leading by example in my actions and impacts on others including the environment. I try let the kids now that it is not winning that is important but rather that they enjoy themselves and stay safe. District 23 has a great race program for the kids and I am glad I can help out to make sure it stays successful for years to come.
