Personal History
I am 25 years old, born and raised in Washington State just outside the city of Seattle. I grew up riding trails with my grandfather and at the age of 8 decided to give it a shot at a small local race. Was hooked on the sport from that moment on and have not looked back since. I've been racing now for 17 close to 18 years consistently. Although battling an injury here and there, I've been super fortunate and have not missed a ton of time on the bike. I started racing the A level (pro) locally at the age of 18, I entered the first year of SX futures, did decent at the Anaheim round. I've competed in a few of the former Amsoil Arenacross events in the Lites and 450 Pro classes over the span of 3 years. I was able financially to get myself down to 2 rounds of the kicker AMA arenacross series in 2021 where I made all mains directly from the heat races in both pro classes. In 2020 I earned my professional AMA motocross license but was shortly after put on the injured reserve list for close to a year with a severely broken and damaged right wrist. I've recovered since and in 2021 I was able to attend 3 rounds of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross championship. I learned so much sharing the tracks with those amazing athletes. Huge eye openers for me. In 2022 I attended the Washougal round of that same series where I did not qualify but I stayed up and I rode the best I could. Financially I do it all on my own for the most part, so looking for brands and companies that are willing to give me discounts on products to race with and keep me safe is huge. I have a super small budget as I am a lead graphic designer for Fusion Graphix. I am super passionate about almost ever aspect of the sport and I love being so involved in it. Discounts don't seem like much, but Id rather do that then beg people for money. I pride myself on working hard and enjoy competing at the highest level of this sport based on the work I put in during the week to be able to afford all this.
Riding Goals
I want to first off, be on the bike at least once every week. I work 9-5 normal man job, so that usually comes on the weekends but as long as I can get at least ONE if not both days on the bike, that is a win for me. Anytime I attend practice days or practice tracks I love riding with my friends and having fun but I love pushing myself and trying to better my riding.
2022 is closing out, I plan on attending my local arenacross series which runs from November through February, I really enjoy the indoor aspect of this sport and trying to better myself inside on the technical tracks. Come 2023, I plan on hopefully attending at least 4 of the AMA kicker arenacross rounds, 2 in Colorado, 1 in Arizona, and 1 in Nevada. These take place in early January and February of 2023. I really enjoy those events and the laid back yet super professional approach they take.
Beyond that I want to chase a handful of the west coast based rounds of the 2023 Monster Energy Lucas Oil pro motocross series in the 250 class. In years prior I was competing in the 450 class because those are the bikes I had. I feel with the "off season" program I have going right now diet and training wise, I can get myself into a competitive state in the 250 class and I am super excited to put my work to the test this coming summer!
Locally, I want to just keep riding and training and representing myself, my work (Fusion Graphix) and my sponsors in the best most professional yet not intensely series way! I love laughing, smiling and connecting with people at the tracks!
Competitive Highlights
I am honestly going to have to look these up and look back on my results it's hard to pin point exact competitive career highlights!
