Personal History
My name is Jared Porter, I am 19 years old and I ride freestyle motocross. Since I was four I have been obsessed with the sport. I do not come from a motocross family and have never been pushed to ride by anyone other then myself. My parents did teach me that if I want something how to work hard for it.
I spent my childhood going to as many races as I could afford to attend. Racing taught me valuable lessons including dedication and how to be my own mechanic.
I'm highly self motivated. I have been living on my own, paying my own way since I turned seventeen. I was a good student in school. I graduated early at sixteen with honors so that I could drive to California to ride some of the spots I have always wanted to ride such as Cahuilla Creek and Ocotillo Wells.
I have always had an very hard time finding a jump to practice on. This was the my first summer with my own private compound to ride on. Which I paid for and built myself. It has helped me improve a ton and being able to jump a comp 75' setup whenever I want has been a dream come true.
Riding Goals
1. To compete at the top level while traveling the world having more fun then anyone else.
2. To get to a place where I can help inspire and promote new freestyle riders struggling to get their foot in the door like I am now.

I have not competed yet but as soon as the opportunity for a demo or competition arises I will be their.
