Personal History
I am Jantzen Jackson. I got my first bike (Yahama PW50) for Christmas 2007 from my Poppy Mark. My mom was scared to death! Once she got over it and let me figure out how to work the thing, I started racing at some local tracks. My first race was in March 2008 at County Line Action Sports Park. I didn't do to bad. As a matter of fact, I finished 2nd in my class. Now, I am on a KTM 50 Pro Sr. and my mom is going to have a nervous breakdown any day now. This bike has opened up a whole new love for me...SPEED! The faster I go the funner it is and the more freaked out my mom gets (scaring mom is the best part)!
Riding Goals
In 2009, I am planning on getting a KTM SX65. It is definately going to be a learning experience for me. The clutch is going to be a little tricky, but I am ready to tackle it. But, my ultimate goal is to get a first place finish in the 50cc class.
Competitive Highlights
Being that 2008 was my first year of racing, I racked up. I finished nine races in 2nd place, had four 3rd place finishes, and four 4th place finishes. I also came in 5th place five times and had a single 6th and 7th place finish. What a year!
