Personal History
My name is James McCain and I am 11 years old. I am originally from Umatilla, Florida, but moved to Orange, Texas In 2013. I am in the 5th grade at Community Christian School in Orange.
I enjoy riding dirt bikes, riding motocross, fishing, hunting and shooting. When I am not riding I like to play soccer, hang out with my friends and play with my dog Chewy.
I started riding dirt bikes at age 8, and rode on the first real motocross track at Cowboy Badlands MX in Beaumont, Texas when I turned 10. My first motocross race was in the Houston Hole Shot series, also at Cowboy Badlands MX. After my first race, I was hooked on motocross.I raced the 65cc 9-11 and 65cc open classes in the 2014 EVO EMX series Championship races. I finished the season as champion in the 65cc 9-11 class and second overall in the 65cc open class. I plan to race this coming year, 2015 in the 85cc classes.
My current rides are a Kaw klx110, a Honda cr85, and a Kaw kx85.
Riding Goals
Move up to 85cc class for the 2015 year. Planning to race in the 85cc 9-11 class and 85cc beginner. I want to race in at least two series and do as many local races as I can. I have been practicing on my 85 and cant wait for my first race.
Competitive Highlights
Just being at a motocross track is exciting to me. It dose not matter if I am practicing or racing, I always look forward to going to any track.
I had riding lessons from a pro while racing in the 2014 EMX championship series and that helped me a whole lot. Practicing my starts and working the inside lines on berms kept me up front in the final races of the series. I finished the season as champion in the 65cc 9-11 class and second overall in the 65cc open class.
