Personal History
My name is James Mitchell. I'm 22 years old and I've been riding motorcycles since I was 5. I've grown up on two wheels and it's my favorite sport. I got into Motocross when I was 12 years old and knew I'd never be the same again. I'm currently working as a parts person for my fathers small motorcycle shop in a small town in the middle of nowhere in Tennessee. Never had alot of money and always had to squeak by to get to motocross races. Finances have been tough in the past and it's nice to get sponsors to help our the financial part of the racing.
Riding Goals
I've just started back racing this year. I have taken a 4 year break because I couldn't afford it financially. So my goals for this race season are to just pick up my speed and get back in shape and just get used to the bike again. for '09 my goals are to be competitive in the 125B class and make a run at Loretta Lynns. It's been my dream since I was 12 to race Loretta Lynns and I don't let my dreams go easily.
Competitive Highlights
I've won numerous local championships in the 85cc classes when I was younger and numerous trophies packed away and plaques in boxes. I've competed in 4 Loretta Lynns Regionals. And finished with a top finish of 14th in one moto against James Stewart.
