Personal History
I have raced endurance mountain bike for the last 6 years. In 2014 I placed 5th overall for the National Ultra Endurance 100 mile series. At the end of last season I got pretty burnt out racing mountain bikes and needed to try something different. I bought a KTM 350 xc-f in December of 2014 and part way through the summer of 2015 decided to try my local AWRCS race. For my first race I picked Seven Springs because I had raced mountain bikes for so many years at that resort. I ended up winning VETC at my first race and was immediately hooked. I had some tire issues at my last two races that kept me from placing as well as I wanted to. I plan on moving to VetB next year and will be bringing the same dedication and competitiveness from years of MTB racing to my new passion.
Riding Goals
IN 2016 I will be racing VET B in a full season of the AWRCS series. I hope to place overall for the series.
I will also be trying my first ACES enduro on November 8th, if I like that format of racing I may try to do that series as well.
