Personal History

My name is James Mason, I was born in Gas City, Indiana and moved to Colorado at age 2. I was raised on riding, and loved it from the first time i threw my leg over a bike at age 5. My first bike was a DS80. I grew up on the trails and just now began riding motocross (mid 2011). I have done a few harescramble type races and placed top 5 in all of them (250 C). Ive also competed in a few motocross races and also placed top five in them. I love riding and everything it has to do with, filming, mechanicing, and just hanging out at races.

Riding Goals

For my up coming season i plan to get my AMA and SRAC cards and begin going to a lot more motocross races across Colorado. I also imtend to make it to at least 3 of the WEBE harescramble series. My hopes for this season is to begin placing consistantly top 3 in the 250 D motocross class, and get consistant top 3's in the 250 C Harescramble class.

Competitive Highlights

One of my biggest highlights would have been in an Enduro race in Pueblo Colorado. The pros left the line and my class was next to go. I pulled a hole shot and about 5 minuets into lap one i had caught a pro who had crashed. He, of course, began to pull away fast and about 1 minute later i came around a corner to see him lying there motionless with one of his friends kneeling over him. I went back to the start line to get him help. He had broken his back. His name is Tyler Gunderman. Im not sure he would remember me but i sure remember him. After showing the medics where he was at i finished my first lap at about 42 minutes into the race. I knew i had to hammer down to catch even second to last and my next three laps were in the low 20's. However i had missed a check point while showing the medics where to go, and my placing did not count.
