Personal History

first off they call me "Nemo." The great name actually came from my little sister but my friends saw the real depth of it and I've been nemo since. The reason it fits is because I was born with a club foot. I was fortunate enough to be accepted by the Shriners hospital to do a club foot reversal surgery. I spent the first 2 years of life in a cast. I learned to walk and run in the cast as well. the surgery had a effect on the length of that leg and the size of my foot and muscle mass in the calf. so I guess I have a lucky fin. I've always been an athlete since the beginning. I've played hockey, football, track, basketball, and of course ridding my dirt bike. I grew up in California riding places like jawbone canyon, the Mojave desert, around Tehachapi and Bakersfield. my family relocated to Texas around the time I was 13. it was rough on me because I dressed like nothing they had ever seen. I didn't get to ride much for a good while. I didn't know where to go or have a riding buddy. my father began working a lot more and riding a lot less as well. I finally found a few buddies to go ride with and now im rididng most every weekend again. I really love to ride my machine.

Riding Goals

I have a very large competitive drive. I would soon like to begin competing. I would like to run hare scrambles, enduros and desert races. I have the discipline and the love for the sport to practice every day. There's no better feeling than when you finally rip that tough turn or hit that jump you've been clawing for. I would soon like to take advantage of some professional instruction.
