Rider Updates

Dec 28 2014

The season is less than a month away and I'm in the stages of getting my bike all ready to go, it's a brand new 2015 ktm 350 xcf and I'm pretty excited about it, the suspension is currently in japan for coatings.  I won the 250 B championship for mrann and will chase the open championship in mrann and make 4 national hare and hound and see how I do,

It's been awhile since I had any updates but the race season is mid way and I'm just enjoying the time off and riding with my buddies, we got some riding trips planned in the next couple weeks up to Idaho and Montana so I will let everyone know how everything went

It's been kinda of a busy last couple weeks but it's finally race weekend again, had some issues making it to some of the races that I originally had planned out, but did make it to the dirtwise school in price, Utah. It was a lot of fun learning how to correctly do things, so now this weekend I get to put the new skills to the test.

Had a awesome previous weekend with the first round in the MRANN series.  I went up to the race site the night before so I didn't have to wake up early and I was really excited to race anyways.

So morning came and I was the first one to the sign up trailer, got all my stuff then went and unloaded and got ready for the race, I knew I had good protection because I was using my Leatt neck brace and my Leatt chest protector, which was covering my new Oneal mx jersey and pants, but I also had great protection to my hips and butt thanks to EVS tug shorts, and my Gaerne boots for keeping my feet protected as well as comfort, and to top it all off I had my ktm Airoh helmet, which is light and hardly noticeable when you wear it.

At the start line and the banner drops, I pick a bad spot to be because I was on the wrong side of the wind so I was about 12 through the hole shot, so I knew I had to make a good pace, and I'm glad I had a clean air filter thanks to twin air to give me that good feeling that everything should run smooth, and I knew people could tell who I was because Decal Works did a awesome job with my number plates, so I came in after the first 50 miles and was 12 overall amateur, so I hurried and got a fast pit and took off again, we were all pretty spread out but I managed to pick of 4 more people including battling with some experts. All in all I was pretty happy, came home with 2nd 250 and 8th overall amateur

Getting the bike prepped and ready for the first round of mrann next weekend, put new tires on, new chain, rekluse clutch, skid plate, asv levers, new numbers, air filter, change the head to a sx, and the cdi box, put new sprockets on, and it all couldn't be done without my sponsors, FMF, ASV inventions, decal works, oneal mx, twin air, gaerne boots, airoh helmets, EVS, Leatt Protection, 5th gear powersports, and the newest addition today, Dirt Tricks Inc. looking like it's gonna be a awesome season to remember

Well it's officially 2014 and I can say I am really ready for the 2014 race season as I plan on going after all the mrann races and 5 or more national hare and hound races, I am in the process of getting the bike ready to go, I got my suspension done by Stillwell Performance and am really excited to try it out, also just bought my leatt brace for the year and am glad to have that as my protection, also just put a new fmf turbine 2 silencer on my bike and am in the process of ording asv levers and oneal jerseys, EVS is on board for my under armor protection which works really well

Had a fun race this last weekend, drove over to the race on Friday night so we would have time to double check everything and make sure it was good to go. Once I got to the line I picked what I thought would be a good line and I worked ok I was 7th through the banners and had to pick and choose when to pass because it was so dusty the whole race, but had a fun race and got 3rd place in class so not to bad hopefully after putting some new products and suspension work next year will be a much more productive season, and I want to thank the sponsors that are on board for this upcoming season. Twin Air, Oneal, Mafia Moto, Gaerne, Leatt Brace, ASV, Airoh Helmets, EVS
