Rider Updates

James is a good racer.... around here in Northwestern Ontario he rocks giving us some competitve enertainment with some of the others in his class. We have a race series with 9 events... we catch what we can at Echo Valley in district 23 to make up some more time. Unfortunatly James has not been able to prove that he can pull off the 20min of aggressive racing that it is going to take to survive in Walton. The concern is he will tire. Accidents happen when racers ride tired. As a family it was decided that it was best to skip this year and work harder on the endurance to try agian next year. We are chearing him on with this goal and are very exited to go for it all out next season.

the day was wet and gloomy...... it was Stewarts first motto of the day. The track was not at it's best today as others in his class seemed to be making some errors as well.
James took the hole shot but not without a battle.... He was holding first in the first lap when a small ooops set him back a couple of places. He was riding well and making up time..... holding second when he got kicked off a jump, layed his bike and rolled for a bit. Yes as far as I can think this was his first visit with the medic on the track... a few scratches and bruises and what I am thinking now might be something pulled in his hip and side he managed to walk off the track....
In a great deal of pain he was forced to sit out his 85cc motto event. After a a lot of rest but still in a lot of pain he pulled himself back on to his bike to run the second motto in the 65cc. Although he would not admit it you could see this hurt him a great deal..... He did not race that motto he rode his bike through that motto as to not see a big 0 beside his name in the race results. He managed to pull off 7th out of 8 positions and he walked away feeling great that he accomlpished this much.
James is planning on racing in Echo Valley next weekend. We will have to see how he is healing up........

I would like to send a thank you out to my sponsors this season, Smith Optics, Twin Air, Globe Shoes & MX Sponsor.
My season finishes where, 1st place in the 65cc class and 2nd place in the 85cc class. A real big thank you goes out to my parents. Without them I would not be able to go out and race. My father for all of his hard work and dedication with the maintenance of my bikes and all of his words of wisdom that help to be the best I can.
I am planing to get on my bike during the winter months. Will be out on the Ice with it when I can and maybe if I am good my parents will take me to an indoor arena in the states to do some racing.
Can't wait for the 2011 MX season already!!!
