I just acquired a 2013 RM-Z450 from Colorado Powersports, which is going to be a nice upgrade from my '09 Honda. I have the bike just about setup, and I'm really looking forward to the race season which is right around the corner!

My results on the day were sufficient to secure my first place in the overall season standings for the SRAC/D25 MX/SX Championship series Vet B class, and second place for the season in the SRAC MX Vet B Class. My goal for 2011 was to finish top 3 in both series, so this has been a successful season for me. I picked up my first Vet B class moto win along the way.

A big thanks to Mike and Melissa for hooking me up with a new suspension setup on my 2009 CRF. The bike is so much more settled in every type of terrain now. Awesome!

I had a heavy fall on the new bike and will be taking a few weeks healing time while MB1 work their magic on my suspension.

We're still in the midst of winter here in Colorado, but it's been a dry ski & snowboard season. SRAC racing starts in just a few weeks...

At this weekend's race at Thunder Valley, I earned the final mark needed to be promoted into the Vet B class. I won both motos on the day, so although I am now effectively out of the championship hunt I will leave the Vet C class on a win and while occupying the class points lead. In two weeks I will compete in my first Vet B race at Wild Rat raceway in Colorado Springs.

I'll be spending two of my three race drops this weekend and next, in order to heal the rib injury I took in my fall at Watkins. Next event will be at my home track - Thunder Valley on 04/19 !!

This is a track I enjoy, and one that I know really well. Will be shooting for a strong result.

I took a fall in my first moto of the day, resulting in a grade-2 AC Separation. I was able to finish the race and then compete in 2 of my remaining 3 motos for the day, salvaging some points. Feeling a little sore the next morning, though!
