Personal History
My name is James Barclay 17 years of age work in Ceduna South Australia as an apprentice Auto electrician (1st year) i have grown up around motorbike but have never raced until this year (2014) because my parents never had the money. i have always wanted to race so i went out and got my own job sold all out old motorbikes and brought a brand new 2014 crf250r. this year has been really succsesful out town opened up out local race track we have been using it as out practice track. i started of this yea racing the bushmans on a yz 125 with was a mates bike. now i have my own bike i went to clubman lites class and went really well they so now i am currently racing intermediate lites and am around the mid pack mark but ever time i race i seem to move up at least 2 positions in the championship. i am looking for some sponsors only because i am really struggling to make it to all the races money wise i earn $380 a week getting paid $9.8 an hour doing 38 hours a week that 380 does not really cut it i really have to sacrifice to make it happen. mostly of my weekly wage goes straight into my motorbike whether its oil, chain and sprockets,fuel,tires ect and as you can see my bike is all stock no upgrades at all. and help would be muchly appreciated and there company name would be well represented.
Riding Goals
by the end of the South Australian state titles i hope to be sitting top ten in the point racing the mx 2 intermediate 250 for stroke class and also practice as much as i can and stay as fit as i can. this is a short term goal long term goal is to one day be racing mx1 ecpert class with the pros.
Competitive Highlights
some of my competetive highlights would be getting the hole shot in all of my motos at rd 2 of port Austa S.A state titles, gettin a 4th place finish at gillman state tiles, comming 7th overall out of 39 riders at gillman RD2 S.A state titles
