Personal History
I am 18 years old and i started riding 2,5 years ago. Eventhough this sounds not like a long time i made big progress in my riding. I have been working and training with professional trainers since the beginning and i am working and training a lot to improve my riding. My parents do not ride, which is the reason why i have to take care of my bike and gear alone, drive to the races and training on my own and care about my program on my own. But until today it has worked great and i manage it to be at the track multiple times a week.
I started racing at my local track two years ago and since then have made great progress. I started racing the series that i am in now in the middle of this year. The first moto of my first race was great with a 9th finish, but in the second moto i dnf because i got injured in a start crash. The first race after the injury i finished 7th and 11th for 9th overall. Getting a top 10 overall finish was a great success.
Last year i had the idea to throw my dad's GoPro on my helmet to shoot some clips of my riding. The people at my local track got interested in the footage and wanted me to upload it, so i made a youtube channel and started producing some vids. The videos improved as my riding did and the channel was growing quiet a bit, now having multiple 10 thousands of views. Lots of people know me or recognize me at the races due to my youtube channel. Some even wanted me to sign them autographs...
Riding Goals
My goal is to keep improve my riding and to train hard in the coming offseason. In the 2018 season i want my results to be good enough to step up into the national mx2 class.
Competitive Highlights
My Competitive Highlight until now was probably the race at the DAMCV Europameisterschaft in Ohlenberg where i finished 9th overall and almost got the holeshot in the first moto.
