Personal History
Hi, my name is Jake Armstead. I started riding dirt bikes at that age of 12. I started on a 1979 XR80 Honda. I am now 14 years old and this is my first year racing. I now ride a 2014 CRF150R. I live with my mom and dad in Brown City Michigan. I have 1 older brother Jeremy (17). I picked my number in memory of my grandma. She passed away on 3-21-11 (321) I like to ride BMX an also mountain bikes.
Riding Goals
My goal in riding is to get to Loretta Lynn's, and eventually to go Pro! Ever since I was little I always wanted to race dirt bikes. I got my first bike for my 12th birthday. It was a 1979 XR80 Honda. I rode that for a year almost 2 years and that's when I got my CRF150R. I started really getting into riding more towards the end of 2015 riding season and now all of 2016.
Competitive Highlights
My last race I battled with another rider for the whole race start to finish. In Moto 2 I fell in the first turn and got back up in 8th place. I worked my way up to a 3rd place and finished with a 2nd Overall.
