The championship track in Southwick Massachusetts proved to be not as daunting as its reputation suggests, as Jake Sheinis finished fifth in his first moto and second in his last moto in what was his first race in the 85cc Amateur class.

   In what turned out to be a beautiful day to race on the same track that has hosted such champions as Chad Reed and Bubba Stewart, Jake Sheinis stunned some older, more seasoned riders with his respectable finishes on a track that is know to weed out even some of the best riders.

JAKE SHEINIS RODE HIS 2009 HONDA 150R TO A SECOND PLACE FINISH IN THE 85CC NOVICE CLASS AT CROW HILL MOTOCROSS EVENT HIS WEEKEND.

THE TURNOUT WAS IMMENSE AND THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT FOR THIS SEASON-BEGINNING EVENT.

   JAKE CAME IN THIRD IN HIS FIRST MOTO AND SECOND IN THE FINAL HEAT OF THE DAY, AS HE RODE HIS HONDA TO A GREAT START FOR THE OFFICIAL BEGINNING OF THE 2009 RACING SEASON FOR TEAM SHEINIS.

In his first year of competition, Jake Sheinis of Carver, Massachusetts rocked the racing community by becoming the overall champion in the 85cc Novice class for the Fall Series of the N.C.S.C. Jake finished with nearly a 100 point lead over the second place finisher, Austin Newcomb of Yarmouth, Ma. Jake completed the ten race series on November 22nd at the Capeway Rovers track in Middleboro, Massachusetts. Jake says he is looking forward to next year, so he can continue making new friends and sharing the sport he loves with those close to him.
