Personal History

Hello there, my name is Jake Willis. I'm 14 years old (A.M.A. 14) and i have been racing since I was four. But I've had some years off mostly when I was on 85s because of injury. When I'm not riding I like to go to the beach, ride BMX, hang out with friends, run, ride rode bikes, mountain bike, and watch motocross videos. One thing that I have been into since I was little is that I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon. When I was nine years old I broke both my legs and since then if I couldn't race motocross I wanted to have that as a backup. Right now I am currently home schooled and I am starting college courses wile I am in tenth grade. I was able to do this because I got all A's (4.0 G.P.A.) last year. At the rate I am going with school I should be able to graduate early and pursue my racing career.

Riding Goals

My goals in racing are to make it to Loretta Lynn's and get a championship these next three years then hopefully go into the professional ranks. I am going to do this by training every day, eating right and going to the track as much as possible. I want to get other championships at other nationals on the road to my professional career.

Competitive Highlights

I don't remember too much from when I was little, but I know that I went to the Ktm Junior Super Cross Challenge. I got to go to Anaheim 1 and then qualified to go to Las Vegas. I also remember that I qualified to go to Loretta Lynn's in 85 9-11 but I never went. This past year I raced the California Gold Cup in 250 novice and School Boy 12-16. I got some 5th through 10th place finishes with ups and downs. Then I did the Loretta Lynn' area qualifier and qualified in 250 novice to go to the regional. After I went to the mammoth qualifier and got a 4th in 250 novice and an 8th in open novice.  But right before the regional and mammoth i got hurt. So I'm looking forward to next year. I would love to have you guys on my sponsors list at races.
