Another great day for riding. Took both the KX109 and KX125 to Three Palms to ride in preparation for the race at Freestone County Raceway for the 2014 AMA Texas State Motocross Championship. I finally got to ride today. What an awesome day. I even got to ride my KX125. I have some new protective gear from Leatt. The extra protection will get tested when you least expect it. Cycle Ranch AMA District 20 Rd 3 and Rd 4 were going to be a chance for me to turn my luck for the series. I had a good practice Friday night and the night track was awesome as always. Saturday practice on the day track was awesome my 1st time out. My 2nd time out I picked up the pace and did not even complete a whole lap when a small mistake cost me the weekend. I hit something on the way up the face of a good step up and my left leg came off the peg and I went side ways, landed, bounced, and went down hard on my right side. My left arm, right scapula, and head were checked out at the ER. I walked away with only a concussion and restrictions for a week. I will be back on the Pro Circuit KX109 and the KX125 my dad built for my birthday ASAP. Back to school. Started cross country and lessons with Cody Haverfield 5Nine9 MX Training. I will be ready for the AMA District 20 Series at 3 Palms Sept. 14th with a fresh Pro Circuit 109.

Good practice at 3 Palms Friday night. A very hot day at Freestone County Raceway Saturday. I had an ok race on the night track. I wish I could ride that track more than once or twice a year. I really like their main track. It feels good to be back on the bike. Back on the bike after 7 weeks off with broken left arm. I rode at Ultimate MX yesterday for 2 hrs before getting rained out. I went to 3 Palms MX today and felt awesome riding for 4 hrs. I feel I am about 95%. I am looking forward to a race in a week or 2.

The Texas Night Series RD3 at Ultimate MX will be my last race for awhile. I got a 5th out of 12 in Supermini class and felt good. The next race was School Boy 12-16 and I was trying to chase down a KX250F and went down in a fast sweeper. I broke my left arm. My Leatt neck brace worked and I am fortunate I did not have any other major injuries. I will heal, train, and be back faster than ever.

2013 AMA District 20 Championship Series RD 5 3 Palms Conroe, TX was going to be my first race on my 2014 KX100 supermini. I got a good start on race 12 the 9-15 open on my KX85 but hit a kicker on a 4th gear jump and crashed out for the day. I was not able to make race 15 supermini due to the previous crash. My dad said I was lucky to land the bike and minimize the damage to myself. My next race will be in November.
