Personal History
Hi, my name is Jake Kintz I started trail ridding at the age of 7 with my Dad on the Honda XR series. From the day I swung my leg over a bike I have feel in love with it. Later, on I made the moved from the Honda XR 100 to a 2004 KTM 200 exc where I was taught the art of two stroke ridding. I started to ride twice a week of 90% woods and 10% track to practice cornering. When I entered my first local race in C class I ended up winning the Class and lapping everyone at least once. With this result I quickly moved up to Light B class where a struggled to ever finish in the top 5 but, I was constantly breaked into the top 10. Four years later, my family and I made a huge decision to buy a new/used ktm 2012 250 xc because the 200 was going on 9 years old. With this I quickly Increased my speed threw the woods. However, this has put a strain on my ability to race because my father has lost his job and I am currently attending IUP for college. Hopefully with more than one sponsor ( my local ktm shop) I will have the ability to increase my racing. Such as, 5 races during the summer.
Riding Goals
I am 100 percent committed to achieving the best race scores possible. This year I had the privilege to attend the Pennsylvania Swimming State Championship meet. To earn the honor of attending this meet I had to re learn the meaning of hard work! I swam around 55,000 yards a week for 6 months. I have brought this training over to my racing career. An average week of training for me is lifting 4 days a week, running twice a week each run consisting of 5 to 8 miles, Bicycling twice a week, swimming, and 2 to 3 days doing a crossfit training exercise. On top of all of this I also ride twice a week. I currently ride on 21 acres of private property and 400 acres of a dirt bike/ off road club. This leads me to my next point, my machine and gear are always well maintained and clean. Your name (sponsorship) will always be on the bike and the part/ gear. I do not believe on using equipment that I do not fully believe in. I promise that not only will your name be seen but promoted. I ride a lot and every weekend even when I am not racing other club members of where I ride constantly come to me for advice of parts. So will PROMOTE YOU. Not only do a try to carry myself with a Christian attitude and lifestyle throughout life but also when I ride and in competition. This means I also will carry your name with respect and honor and do my best to promote it. This is why every season a new graphics kit is put on the bike to have your name appropriately display. MY GOAL is to win B class races in the National Enduro and AWRCS over the next two to three years then move into the A class. I am on pace I am getting faster every year!!!!!
