Personal History
My name is Jake Rogers, I am 20 years old attending Wichita State University for a degree in mechanical engineering. I started racing ATVs when I was a young boy. I stopped racing until 2013 when I picked the sport back up. I have done most types of ATV racing including MX, flat track, TT, Arena cross. I have chosen Mx racing to be my favorite and have progressed tremendously in the sport.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are to improve on every race. I start every race planning on being on top of the podium at the end of the race. I have had some serious injuries racing including, four compression fractures/ two bulged disks in my T4 vertebrae, and tearing all the muscle from my left hip pointer. I have never let these injuries slow me down. I was right back to racing a lot of times against the doctors advice because I love to race.
Competitive Highlights
I was the 2015 KAMS intermediate B class champion. Hopefully I can defend this title as the 2016 season is still ongoing due to rainouts.
