Personal History

My name is Jacob (Jake) Dennis. I am 33 years old, and I have been involved in racing motorcycles for 20 years. I have an Associates Degree in Manufacuring Technologies, and I am currently employed by Day Automation as a security project manager.

Motorcycling in general is my passion. Throughout the years I have experienced many different types of motorcycling such as motocross, enduros, hare scrambles, road riding, adventure touring , trials, and ice riding. I've always been very active in the motorcycle community, and I'm currently a member of two motorcycle clubs.  I have taken part in organizing and running many motocross and hare scramble events.  Currently, I am the head organizer and trail boss for the Northeast 24 Hour Challenge.

I began riding when I was 12 and racing at the local motocross track when I was 14 years old. I quickly moved through the ranks and became an expert level rider when I was 17. For the next 3 seasons I raced the local motocross circuit, hitting a few regional races, before switching to hare scrambles for the 2003 season. Due to college and starting my career, I was only able to ride and race occasionally for the next 4 seasons. In 2008 I got back into riding and racing.  Since then I have been racing  Western New York Offroad Association hare scrambles, and D-4 Enduro series enduros in the A class.

Riding Goals

For the 2017 season, my main goal as always is to enjoy what I'm doing and to have fun. I do however still have my competitive edge, and I want to win the A class in the D-4 Enduro series. I also would like to contest as many of the East Coast Enduro Association enduros as possible.
