Personal History

My name is Jacob Stull, but please call me Jayke. I have been a fan of the moto world for several years! Having been a road racer the last 7 years, it was only natural for me to want to get involved in other two wheeled sports. I have been riding dirtbikes for 5 years now and am finally throwing my hat in the ring for competition. I am very excited to get down to a training schedule and get physically prepared for the 2013 season. Having never raced motocross I plan to begin in the Open C class.

A little about me on a personal level. I am first a family man. I have been married for 8 years and have two children. Everyone in my house enjoys the two wheeled lifestyle. My wife rides a Honda CR85, my 7 year old daughter rides a Yamaha TTR50, and my 5 year old son is getting started on a KTM 50 SX Jr.

Other than motorcycles and dirtbikes, I really enjoy playing guitar. I like to play all kinds of music from Metallica and Bullet for My Valentine out to Van Halen and Quiet Riot. I also do a lot of work on cars. When it comes down to it, I sound like a typical gear head! I really enjoy my hobbies and they make me who I am.

Riding Goals

For 2013 I am looking to start off in the Open C class. My goals are to start off smooth to gauge the competition and grow from there. The ultimate goal is to be on the box, but I believe consistency is more important. I believe I can progress quickly because of my level of fitness and determination. By the end of the season I plan to be top 5 in each class.

Competitive Highlights

A majority of my competitive highlights would be in road racing since I have yet to compete in motocross. My most memorable moment was taking my first podium at Nelson Ledges Race Track in Garrettsville, OH. I had a horrible start and was back as far as 10th. I had to charge through the pack and put down my fastest lap ever while going through traffic. I believe that shows that when I put it all on the line that I am willing to take chances to get to the front.
