Personal History
I'm 21 years old, I live in rural Missouri about an hour south of St. Louis. I have been riding since I was about 4 years old. I didn't race until 2006. Raced two or three harescrambles in beginner class, and immediately understood why people go through so much just to make it to the races every weekend. I moved to Florida August 28, 2006 to attend MMI. Graduated from MMI and the HONTECH training program in October of 2007. I figured if I was ever gonna go anywhere with racing I better be able to fix my own bikes, and be able to do it the right way! I only caught a couple races in 2007 due to trying to work as a Tech in Kansas City, and then drive all the way back to the St. Louis area on weekends to ride and race (all over the state). Now I am back home in rural Missouri giving it my best shot to develop my riding and to become better at all aspects of riding, if only I could afford the parts I need....hahaha. To put it short, I'm a relaxed fun loving guy who loves to ride and race, I love any and everything to do with bikes and the industry, the people, the whole bit. If you need a guy who isn't afraid to tell people why he is able to make it to every race, and why his bike holds up, I'm your guy. Often at the races I attend the heavily supported riders never seem to have anything to say about the ones supporting them. Well I hope to change that. It might seem ridiculous to some, but I think that no matter what the level of support all riders should let anyone who is within earshot know who helps them chase their dreams.
Riding Goals
My goals for this year are to win the 250C class in the MHSC racing series, and to have a top 5 finish in the last race of the season in the 250B class. I would also like to accquire sponsors who have enough faith in me to help get over these initial hurdles, mostly financial, so that maybe someday the only excuse I would ever be able to utter after not winning a race is that I just didnt have it in me, not some crap about the bike not being good enough, etc...I want to be the best, and I won't stop trying until I'm old and gray or in my grave!
Competitive Highlights
My career is still very green to say...but my most memorable moment so far...
1st at the 2006 FMF National Enduro at Park Hills, Mo. C-class
It was just a great memory because it was the first race where there were National professionals actually racing on the same couse as I was.
I also raced the GNCC race that year in Missouri, that put in to perspective how hard it is going to be to become one of the best. The course was just a mangled mess of rocks, hills, downed trees, and bottle necks. It was great. There were XXXX danger sections. It was simply amazing. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything!
