Personal History
My name is Jacob Jones. I was born in a small town of Chaska, Minnesota which I grew up in the same town with Ryan Dungey. I lived in Minnesota for about 4 years until my parents job sent us to Ohio. I have been living here in Powell, Ohio for around 12 years now and this town has changed me to the person I am today with influences from my family as well. I have been on a bike since i have moved here to Ohio. I started out with putting my TTR90 in the trunk of my dads SUV which we used to transport my bike to and from my schools big open field. I rode in my schools field for my first year which my dad soon got a bike again and started to ride with me. My dad used to race motocross for 11 years until he decided not to with all of his crashes and about to raise a family. Today he is still my #1 influence when it has come to my racing and practicing. I rode with my dad for a while until I got my TTR125 which I then got my thinking about starting to race. I started out with classic adventure rides with my dad and soon worked up to getting my WR250f which I have today which I race enduros and hare scrambles with. With my dad and grandpa pushing me and influencing me ever step of the way, they got me into my first race which I then finished 10th overall. Keeping a rate of pushing myself more and more I am now at that point where my heart in mind are in the right spot to do amazing things with racing and it will continue to get better throughout my career
Riding Goals
With many dissapointing injuries in the past that have set me back a ton in my riding and racing seasons, I have always and will continue to fight through those obsticals and become the greatest that I can be. With me starting off racing a couple of years ago I have been always so nervous to race. With the help of my family, friends and people that I love and care about, they have pushed me so far and which I am continuing to be the best. With this upcoming season, I have many goal that I will do whatever it takes to be the best. This year in OXCR Hare Scrambles, my goal is to reach the top spot on the podium in my class. I have learned from the mistakes in the past and I will put my blood, sweat and tears into doing whatever it takes to reach the #1 spot on the podium in my class. I know its a big goal but I will do whatever it takes to reach there. Besides that, every race I plan to be in one of the podium spots to keep me motivated and to work me harder to reach for the top spot. Another goal for this season is to start and work with more companies that will beleive in me and do everything they can to help me get to the top spot of the podium.
