Personal History

Hi my name is Jake Davenport from central Michigan. I am a vet rider. I have been riding dirtbikes since I was 4 years old. Started racing when I was seventeen. Had a few good moments racing some amateur nationals like the mini Os and Branson. Won a 25+ class championship in the Michigan state supercross series and finished 3rd in the A class in 2009. Took some time off from racing roughly ten years, then got back into it in 2020 did a little bit of riding and a hand full of motos in 20 and 21 . Then I put my head down and chased a series in 2022. Did really well. Finished every moto and brought home a championship. I am 40 years old with a fiance and a 5 year old daughter who I would like to get into racing. We are all a huge fan of the sport and love being at the track every weekend.

Riding Goals

My goals for the 2023 season is to chase the District 14 season series and state championship series. My goal is also to make it to Loretta Lynn's in the 30+ and 40+ vet classes. I plan to win the 40+ class at the Baja Brawl in 23. I was runner up in 22 and I need to redeem myself and clinch the championship. I also have plans to race the AMA district 14 harescramble team series. The main goal is to train hard be on the podium every race, finish healthy and win some championships.
