Personal History
My name is Jacob Bilton a 16-year-old Junior from New London, Ohio. I have been racing for the last 2 years and am going into my 3rd full year of racing. My goal is to continue to become a better racer and to try to obtain my long-term goal of going to Loretta Lynn’s. I enjoy working with younger riders to mentor them as much as I can and make sure they are enjoying what they are doing. I’m willing to put in the time, commitment and hard work that this sport requires.
Riding Goals
My very first trail bike was purchased by my grandparents in 2013 for a Christmas present. Let’s just say since then my passion to ride has continued to grow. The last couple of years I became very close to so many motocross riders; Zach and Danny Lahood, Mikey Yoker, Jack Windland and a Pro Monster Energy Supercross racer Logan Karnow. At first, I was just attending some races to watch those that I knew race but then that quickly changed. I realized that this was a passion that I wanted to pursue. The motocross sport is like know other that I have ever been involved in everyone is always willing to help and give me pointers on how to be a better racer on my turns, rhythms, straightaways and starts. I purchased my first Yamaha YZ85 in the fall of 2017 and I began building a dirt track in my back yard which allowed me to practice daily. In the winter I would go to RAMJAM in Lorain which is an indoor track, I would try to go about 2 times a week which allowed me to continue to practice on becoming a better racer. My current bikes are a 2019 KTM 125SX and a 2018 250SX. I typically race in the 125 and schoolboy class.

2020 was an extremely rough year but I did still end up decent in points standings for only racing 14 races the whole season. In June I crashed a broke my tibia/fibula and that required surgery which in turn put me out for almost 4 months. I was able to come back at the end of season and race a few races before it was all over. 2021 is going to be a great year I believe.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to review my resume and for the opportunity to submit for possible sponsorship. It would mean a great deal to be able to represent and be a part of such a great team.
