Personal History

I am the national sales manager for my family winery out of Paso Robles Ca called Peachy Canyon Winery. About 5 years ago I decided to get into riding motorcycles. I remember wanting to ride them as a youngster, however my parents were pretty anti-dirtbikes so that never happened. I told myself that someday if I am able to afford a home, then I would buy a bike. Shortly after buying my home I did just that, and I haven't looked back. Over the last 5 years my friend and I have built a motocross track on a 14acre spread of land. My most recent addition to it is a single track section that takes you down through a creek, a log crossing, and a technical hill climb. Throughout the year we bring different kids out to the track that don't get a chance to ride much. My long term goal is to open an MX park in Paso Robles CA.

Riding is both a hobby and a passion of mine. I recently attended the MXof Nations at Budds Creek and plan on traveling to next years no matter what!

This past year, my riding partner and I entered the Worcs Oceano Dunes race( for the second year). I did ok, but my buddy qualified for the pro 2 class race on sunday! We had a blast, it was quite an experience, he survived and I was fortunate enough to be on pit row with the big boys. I am hooked.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        fast forward 5 years. 2013 has been a great race year. A friend of mine at our local shop told me about some GPs he was racing. It sounded fun so we drove to Anza and I ended up racing and winning  the WCGP vet intermediate race. It was so much fun we decided to hit the remaining rounds. So far I logged 2 additional second places  and I'm headed to Pala to finish the series in December. the Goal for 2014 is to hit 6-7 of the eight rounds and try to win my class.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          In addition to more racing I am now the owner/sales manager for a new winery that my brother and I created called Chronic Cellars. It has been a huge success for us and  Time has been something that has come with being self employed and having a great team. it was definitely worth the risk.                  I have been using the time to spend more quality time with my wife and our 3 children, and also to train consistently and race more.

Riding Goals

Win the WCGP Vet Intermediate class in 2014. Train consistently, ride more.  Move up to Vet Expert for 2015.

Competitive Highlights

My competitive highlights are the fact that i am competitive at all.

Before riding motorcycles was a part of my life I was never one to compete in anything, always reluctanct and intimidated.

2 Years ago my riding buddy convinced me to compete in the Worcs race at the Oceano Dunes. I agreed and convinced my Family company to sponsor us. I have never been more nervous, other than my wedding day. Something happended the day of the race, i was scared, but went for it anyway and it changed me. I love racing and competing now. In any other situation I would have backed out, but I didn't and it has really changed my outlook on life and gave me confidence in myself that I never had. I owe a lot to this industry and I am bound and determined to be a part of it for the rest of my life, and if I am fortunate enough I would like to make a living in some venue related to motocross.                                                                                                          2012 Highlights, 2nd place at the NHHA Moose Run,  Competitive Highlights for 2013, racing last 4 rounds of the WCGP.
