Personal History

My name is Jacob Asay, and I am looking for your support in my amateur racing efforts. I’m nineteen years old and currently a student at The University of North Texas. I love to race motocross. I started riding at the age of five on a PW 50 and steadily worked my way up to the ride I have now which is a 2004 CRF 250R. I just recently started racing seriously in the summer of 2007. I enjoy racing because of the competitive drive it gives me. I want to get faster every time I get on the bike. I spend a lot of time in the gym when I’m away at school so on the days I get to ride I am fit and ready to pound out some practice laps or charge my way to the front come race day. I owe a lot to my two older brothers for getting me where I am now. They help me with everything from mechanical work to getting me to the track. Aside from keeping me competitive I love to be at the track because it gives me great times with my family and friends. Aside from motocross I enjoy mountain biking, running, swimming, and working out.

Riding Goals

This year I want to compete and do well in all the Texas series races. Ideally, I want to finish top 10 at every race. I hope to improve my riding skills as well as my physical fitness with lots of training in the gym and on the track. My ultimate goal is to stay healthy.
