Personal History

I’m Jacob Carter and I’m 27 years old. I grew up on a farm in a small town in Ohio called Circleville. I got my first bike a PW50 for Christmas when I was 5 years old. I started racing locally shortly after that. After a year or two once my parents became more familiar with the sport we began venturing out of state to race some regional level races. I continued to race motocross through high school. After graduating high school I decided to join the United States Air Force.  I have now been enlisted for 9 years and I’m currently stationed at Nellis, AFB in Las Vegas Nevada. I absolutely love what I do and the brothers and sisters I’ve met along the way. I took a break from riding motocross when I first joined the military to concentrate on learning my job and conforming to a new lifestyle. I’ve been back riding now for 3 years and honestly feel that I’m in my prime. During the week if im not on the bike I’m in the gym so that when the weekend rolls around I’m 100% ready for any track. I make it to a track ever weekend. I travel to California to race/ride as much as possible as well. I now have two daughters one of which is 2 and the other is 6. My 6 year old has a PW50 now and we both love spending time at the tracks.

Riding Goals

As mentioned above I’ve been back riding now for a little over 3 years, my first year back was just kind of a warm up and get feeling comfortable on the bike again. Last year o really pushed myself in the gym and on the road bike to have my conditioning where it needs to be to compete at the top level. I managed to at a minimum make it to a track almost every weekend in 2018 to practice. I raced a handfull of races as well.

Moving onto the 2019 Race season, my goal is to continue to keep myself in the best shape I can off the bike. I will continue to go to they gym daily and continue my routine on the road bike as well. The ultimate goal for 2019 is to make it to Loretta Lynn’s and perform well once I’m there. Other goals I would like to achieve this year is to race more often than the 2018 season. Ultimately my goal is to make it to some of the bigger races in California this year to see where I stand. Overall my goals are obtainable and I will strive to continue to better myself on and off the bike this 2019 season.

2018 was my first year back racing motocross and I felt I had a great year.
