This is a letter to kindly ask for any kind of sponsorship however. big or small, to help develop and enhance my racing career.
My name is Jack Staines, I live on a farm and have raced bikes all my life. I’m now 16 and have recently left school. My dad runs Ashbymotoparc which is just a short 5 minutes’ drive from my house so I am able to get there most days to get some practice in.
I am currently riding a 2013 200 KTM and Paul Edmondson’s factory 125cc that he recently completed the Six Days on.
I have had the privilege of practicing with David knight, Danny McCanney jonny walker and Lee Edmondson as they often use the track in the woods next to our house.
I mainly compete in Enduros and Extreme Enduros. I normally finish in the top 3. I raced the notorious Weston Beach race last year and came 3rd. I did it this year but just narrowly missed out on 3rd and received 4th place
I raced Skegness Beach race this year that the AMCA organised. I came 15th in the main race due to technical failures but managed this despite time out of the race resolving them.
I raced Fast Eddys ACU British Extreme series this year and got 2nd through the 3 round championship. I’m hoping to compete in the 2013 Series which starts on 27 January. I have also raced Paul Edmondson’s Sprint Series and have regularly finished 2nd and 3rd. I have raced the ACU British Sprint series. I particularly enjoy riding these with the championship motocross sections and Enduro sections all mixed up with the speed element of racing against the clock. I normally finish within the top 5 but a big crash meant that I narrowly missed out on a 3rd place podium finish.
I managed these achievements with the help of :
Michelin
1stmx.co.uk
Optimal control giving me suspension, forks and shocks.
My dream is to carrying on competing and win!! I would like to attend the European Enduros or even MotoX rounds. I am very committed and take my training seriously.
I would really appreciate any kind of sponsorship however, big or small. I could also ensure that there are additional advertising opportunities as I am heavily involved in the operation of the Practice Track at Ashby Moto Park as this is a family business.
I ride every weekend without fail, at different race meetings all over the country.
I would love for you to get back to me whether it be a yes or no.
