Personal History
I first started riding when I was 2 years old, my first dirtbike was a PW50, and I rode about everyday around the yard and stuff, then when I turned three I had my first race at log road mx, I finished in second place. We have our own practice track in our backyard called VPF MX (Vaughn’s Practice Facility) and that’s where I practice before races and stuff. My number on my PW50 was #6 but now my number is #700.
After my PW50 I got a KTM50 when I was four-1/2, and I didn’t have that for very long. I only had it for about a year, but in the time I did have it I was jumping all of the doubles and tabletops on the kids tracks, and having fun.
My next bike was a KTM65 that I got when I was around 5, and when I got it I started going a lot faster the more I practiced. My biggest jump on my KTM65 was 40-50 feet (which is pretty big for a 6 year old) and I was getting more comfortable on the bike as 2 years went by, and the last year I had it I was going faster than I have ever went due to all of the practice I did.
Then when I got rid of my KTM65 I got my YZ85 when I was 9 years old, this is when things got interesting. The first day I got it I was riding on my track in the backyard and it was pretty dry that day, so when I was going up to a berm I slid out and broke my brake lever,(I wasn’t very happy about that.) but it was okay I got new levers for it that week. I loved it on my 85 I was going so much faster and ripping through the corners, doing huge jumps, choosing all of the right lines and having a lot of fun going to races on it and going fast. Then something bad happened. On the year of 2010 the first time riding outdoors after winter on our track I was going down a straightaway 4th gear tapped, and there was a deep line through this patch of trees on the straight away, I cross rutted and got out of control and there was a tree on the left corner of the straightaway and I slammed into it, flipped over the bars and broke both bones in my left forearm in half, and cracked my wrist. I went to a hospital close to home but they couldn’t do the surgery so they sent me to the Fort Wayne hospital that is an hour away. I was in the hospital for a week, and when they sent me home I didn’t feel good and I was puking and my arm hurt like crazy, so we went back to the hospital that day and it turns out that it was infected so I had 2 more surgeries on it and they stuck a tube in my arm to suck the infection out. It looked gross. So I was in the hospital for about another 2 weeks. When I was healed up I had to ride with a brace on my arm for about a month. But I got back up to speed and had my 85 for about another year or so.
My next bike and my bike I have now is a YZ125, when I first rode THIS bike I felt really good on it and was riding so smoothly and was really comfortable on it and was pretty fast, then when we were remaking a private track called RTF they made this HUGE downhill triple that was about 110 feet, and I hit it, since I did that I wasn’t scared to do any other jumps and it was like a switch flipped or something and I started ripping. I was doing all of the jumps on all of the local tracks and private tracks that I rode at and was really fast jumping triples and big floater table tops and railing corners. Then I got mononucleosis ( mono ) actually chad reed even had it, but so I couldn’t ride for a couple of weeks tll I was better and once the doctor released me to ride I was on the bike. And the second day of riding after I had mono we had a practice day at our backyard track with some friends and I was feeling really good that day and jumping everything good and going fast, then the unexpected happened.. I was going up to a big 80 foot table top and there was this HUGE kicker in the face of the jump and I hit it… I flipped upside down in the air and slammed my left side of my body on the ground from 2 stories in the air. I broke my left leg in half, broke my upper part of my left arm in half, and broke my ankle. I was airlifted to the Fort Wayne hospital, I was in the hospital for a week and had a metal plate put in my leg and arm. This crash was 4-5 years after my last one, and I was off of riding for a while. But When I was healed I got back up to speed and feeling better than before.
Here I am now. faster than ever.

Riding Goals
My riding goals are to be very successful in motocross, and to get a lot of good sponsors to help me through races and getting parts for my bike and getting good gear. Another goal I have is to go to Loretta’s.
Competitive Highlights
My racing highlights are all of my trophies from red bud, and Baja acres. Since those are pretty well known tracks.
