Personal History

My name is Issac Ortiz and I started riding dirt bikes when I was 6 years old. In April of 2015, at the age of 7, I participated in my first race in the 50cc Honda 4 stroke beginner class (4-8 year old) in Sacramento, California and have been racing ever since. I am excited to start the 2nd grade this year and my goal is to maintain the high academic average that I have in the previous two years. When I'm not on my dirt bike, I enjoy playing with my friends, swimming, playing board and video games, and fishing, but if I have the chance, all I want to do is ride!

Riding Goals

My riding goals are to ride my dirt bike as much as I can and hopefully someday I can become a professional rider. For now, my goal is to continue to improve on my riding skills and participate in larger events as my skill level improves. I know that it is going to take hard work and dedication to achieve my goals, but I'm up for the challenge!

Competitive Highlights

This is my first season of competitive racing and I have completed numerous races at Sacramento Raceway Park in Sacramento, California. I placed 5th over all in the points standings for the Spring Series Honda 50cc beginner class with my best finish being two 2nd place finishes which gave me 2nd over all for the night's races. I am still working hard for that 1st place finish, but I know that consistency, a positive attitude, hard work and training will help me achieve it.
