Getting readyi for my second race of the hare scramble season this weekend. My first race this season we didn't get the result I was looking for. So it was back to work and looking for ways to improve.

Having a great year in 2012 running several local harescramble races and some national harescrambles also. I have raced sevveral X races this year also. I really enjoy both types of racing and they both have helped improve my skills. Thanks to all my sponsors for helping me stay on the track and in the woods.

Well I ran my first race of 2011 today and boy was it nasty out there. I ran two classes today and won my first class and the overall Pee Wee class. I think I took water on during the second race and my bike started acting up and I was only able to get a lap in. Froze my butt off today but I had a blast.

We've been working hard to get the bikes ready and in good running order. I'm also getting ready to order some new gear from my sponsor ONEALMX, EVS, and Utopia Optics. I'll be getting some new levers from ASV, some filters from Twin Air and some plastic from Cycra. Can't wait until the season starts.

It's that time of year. The weather here is pretty nasty right now it is snowing and has been in the low 20's all week. I've been watching some old race videos, some supercross and moto-cross race replays and playing Reflex on the PS3. I'm really excited and looking forward to a new race season. Thanks to all my sponsors this past season and thanks to all the sponsors that have signed on for next season.

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Shane Watts' riding school this past Friday and Saturday. Shane is an excellent teacher and is very knowledgable. I learned a ton and I can't wait to try and implement what I've learned.
Sunday wasn't as fun. I started the day pretty well on my KTM 50. I got the holeshot and ran top two until the last two laps of the race. I was 8 seconds off the leader and my bike just died at the bottom of a hill climb. I later found out that my engine was toast.
The youth race was worse. I didn't make a lap on my KTM 65 before my front tire went flat. I was able to limp around and get a lap in before I parked it.
Overall though I had a great season. I should finish 3rd overall in the Pee Wee class and 7th in the 65cc class. I really feel I have improved greatly since last year and I plan to work hard this off season to be ready for next year.

Your products have helped me through an excellent race season and have withstood the rigors of a 15 race off road series. I've used the EVS RC race collar, Flux chest protector and riding shorts and they have held up extremely well on have protected me on more than one occasion. The Twin Air filters have worked excellent at keeping the nasty stuff out of my carb and letting the air in. My Cycra hand guards have taken a beating from branches, rocks and trees but my hands haven't. The Utopia Slayer MX goggles have kept my eyes safe and clean. Thanks again for your support and your excellent products. I will be aquiring some new OnealMX riding gear and riding boots in the very near future and I can't wait to try them out.

I just wanted to thank all my current sponsors.
I currently use the EVS RC Evolution neck brace, EVS flux chest protector, and the EVS riding shorts. They are excellent products and I have been very happy with them. I highly recommend them.
My Utopia Optics goggles have been great, very durable, comfortable and have done a great job keeping the dirt and mud out of my eyes.
I run mostly Hare Scramble races and my Cycra hand gaurds have protected my hands and fingers from many tree branches, rocks and flying debris.
The Twin Air filters are unbeatable. They've done an excellent job of keeping dust, dirt, moisture and mud out of my engine.

I broke my arm last week when the front of my 65 washed out in the mud and I clipped a tree pretty hard on the way down. I ended up with a cast on my left arm. The Doc says I'll only have to wear it for about 3 weeks. I was able to race the 50cc class with it last weekend but I lost another clutch and had to push my bike through the scoring tent to get my points. I won't be racing my 65cc until the cast comes off.

So far I have participated in four races this season. I am running in two different classes, the Pee Wee A class and the Youth Bike 65cc class. I finished 2nd in my first 50cc race and 8th in my first 65cc race. My second race found me with clutch problems on my 50cc but I did end up 3rd. The 65cc race was extremely difficult, due to serious amounts of rain, the track was extremely challenging and I ended up 10th.

I got the new EVS RC evolution neck brace, EVS impact shorts, a pair of Utopia Too Dirty MX goggles, a pair of Utopia Slayer MX goggles and new Twin Air air filters for my KTM 65 SX and my KTM 50 SX. I will be riding in two classes this year and with my new equipment I'm good to go.

I just finished my first race season and I loved every minute of it. In the Extreme Dirt Series I finished 6th overall and 4th in my class. In the Mid Ohio Valley Hare Scramble Series I finished 4th overall and 2nd in my class. I ran a total of 21 races last year and enjoyed every one of them. I'm real excited about next season, I plan to run the 50cc class again along with the youth 65cc class. I also plan on running some MX races next year along with the hare scramble races.
