Personal History
I started out the season great and in the 4th race wrecked in some big rollers. I hit at a bad angle and broke my back. I had surgery on May 23rd and had T1 - T8 fused. Sixteen screws and 2 ten inch rods. I moved to Oregon in August 2010, it's cool. I was cleared by the neurosurgeon to ride this summer and have been at the tracks practicing as much as possible. Riding Goals
Continue getting back in shape from my surgery. Starting in October 2011, I'll run 2 "D" class races and then be jumping to "C" class. My goals for next year are to place top 8 in all my races since the races here in the notrhwest are typically full gates. Other than that, Practice, practice, practice... my turns and jumps.
Competitive Highlights
Last year was my first year racing so, everything is a highlight. I ran in an Arena cross race and the Main Event was a blast. Big crowd and lots of lights. I placed 3rd in my first Motocross race. During my 4th race while in the lead, I crashed bad. Had 6 1/2 hours of surgery, spinal fusing T-1 thru T-8 on my spine. Received 2 ten inch rods and sixteen screws. I guess the big highlight is, I'm riding again!!!
