Personal History
I’m Houston,I’m a union electrician and 19 years old. I started about three years ago. When I started I could not finish a race. I was terrible and it was an addiction to ride more and more. I am 19 and so when I turned 16 and I got a truck I took it everywhere to ride it personally was a good stress reliever and fun way to meet new people. The next year of riding I was better and started getting podium placements. That made it even more exciting to push my hardest. I was hitting the gym and doing everything possible to get better. My third year of racing started and I was winning my class it was so fun. I have never been more happy. This upcoming year may be my last year to race or second to last year to race. I was very recently diagnosed with a chronic heart condition and I am very blessed to have it under control, but along with that comes medicine I have to take like blood thinners. Once I start taking my blood thinners I will no longer be able to race or do any physical sport. I wanted to take these last two years before I have to start them and put in a couple years of doing my best. I don’t want racing to be something I wish I would’ve tried harder at. It’s a lifestyle and a life style I’ll be giving up. I would appreciate a sponsor to help me out with things like gear and tires so I can make the best of what I have left.
Riding Goals
My goals for my career are to be my class champion. I’ve placed second and third. I would like to wreck less and place podium more often. My over all goal is to make it to my local pro class and I believe I’m only a year or two off that goal if I continue hitting the gym and ride as often as possible. I am looking forward to being a sponsored rider and purchasing cool gear.
Competitive Highlights
My highlights are short and sweet my first year I rode C class and podiumed over half my races. Finished the year as the 2nd overall C class rider in points. Next year I moved up to B and podiumed about half my races. I placed 3rd in points that year and loved every race.
