Personal History

Hi my name is Henry D. (Hoch) Coolbaugh, I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers, making me the middle child. I enjoy golfing, riding my dirtbike, mountain biking, and spending time with my family. My family and I moved from Colorado to Missouri in 2020 so I could train for a motocross career.  I have been racing for 4 years now and riding for six. I currently race a 2017 Kx 250f and a 2019 Yz 125.

Riding Goals

The main reason why I ride is because when I'm on the bike I feel free, for me riding is a therapy. Not only do I love the feeling of being free, but I also love the adrenaline rush that my bike gives me. My main goal this year is to make it to Loretta Lynns Amature National. I know that I can do what it takes to get there and I will do anything in my power to get me into that possition in my carreer. Once I make it to Loretta's I would like to get a top 10 finish. My goal for next year would also be going to Loretta's but racing in the B class and finishing top 5 or better. After that Im going to race the supercross futures, that way I can have an even better shot at becoming pro.

Competitive Highlights

This past year I have made a lot of progress on and off of the bike. I went from letting people by to battling for the top position. Last year I raced a Fair Cross series and Got 1st in school boy 12-16 and 2nd place in 250 C for my overall performance. Since then I have been training hard to become an even better rider. I then went to racing the Missouri State Series after that, to find even more, and even faster competition. I raced the 250 c and the 450 c and got decent finishes but not good enough. I got 6th overall n the 450 C and 10th overall in the 250C. At the end of the season I was not happy what so ever. I realized how much harder I could have pushed and how much more I could have done to finish better. This year I coming in even stronger than ever, I have my own personal trainer who is going to help me achieve as much as I possibly can.
