Personal History

My name is Heath Salazar and I have 2 daughters ages 22 and 16 and I also have a 4 year old grandson

whom I would to have riding very soon. I was so excited when I found out I had a grandson on the way after

raising two daughters that only wanted to go to the track to see the boys. (not cool) I own my own business

I grew up in the car business, since I can remember my dad would have me picked up after school to go

work at the car lot. So it only made since to stay in that line of work since I grew up in it and knew it so well.

Riding Goals

I rode when I was younger and got out of it for a long time and it was always in the back of my head

to get back in to it. One day a friend called me and asked me if I wanted to buy a bike and get back into

riding again and the rest is history, I've been riding for about 10 years now and I just really enjoy it and

the people I meet at the tracks, they are like family. Not sure what I would do for fun if I didn't ride anymore.

I'm racing the Main Event series at the moment and currently standing in 2nd place in over 40 C/D

and 3rd in 35 amateur. To end the year up I'll race the Holeshot Series which will go into next year as well

and then the South Texas Night Series along with local races. I want to hit some Loretta Lynn Qualifier

this year and see if I can do some damage and represent for the old guys.

Competitive Highlights

I was the over 40 C/D champion in the Main Event last year as well as the Holeshot Series

I finished 2nd in the State finals at 3 Palm MX park and 2nd in the South Texas Night Series

which was held at Freestone County Raceway.
