Personal History
Well, I'm Hayden Huffer. I've been riding for quite a while, but didn't get into racing until the very end of 2007. I had been riding tracks but just hadn't taken that step towards riding. In 2008 i was only able to race a handful of times, largely due to not having the money to actually go. I had some good finshes in 125 beg. on my CR125, but lack of riding every week has kept me to the D class and I havn't improved much. But I absolutely love riding. It's all i really think about. Anything about the sport. I follow it very closely week in and week out. I am my own mechanic. I love working on my bike and taking care of it. If I had the money, I would be at the track every weekend. No doubts. But until then, I will ride as much as I possibly can.
Riding Goals
I am really hoping to step up my racing for 2009. I am getting a job so I should be able to put together enough money to compete in a complete series. My goal is to compete in the Washington State Gold Star Series, which is a ten round series that runs from March til June. After that, I want to compete in the Washington State series, which is also a ten round series that runs from August til October. And throughout the year, I want to take a few MX classes so I can start to get serious. I just want to be able to actually go racing in 2009.
Competitive Highlights
1-1 at Ward Creek-125D. 4-2 at Straddleine-125D. A few 3rd's in arenacross, and a 4th.
