Personal History
I started riding at the age of 10. Ever since, it has been my dream to compete at world level motocross. I Had my first race when i was 12 in 'AMCA Inter-Juniors' in 2008. I progressed to the 'MX2 juniors under18s' at 13 on my honda crf150r in 2009. Then i raced for NSMXC in 2010 on a yamaha yz125. Went back to race AMCA in 2011 on my 2 new Yamaha YZ250F's. Won the 'MX2 Juniors under18s' , then moved into the 'MX2 seniors' , and began to get some top 3 results. Then i crashed and broke my pelvis, which i was lucky to only miss 4 months off the bike for. Then came back to win the 'MX2 Senior' class and finish the season in the 'MX2 Experts' getting some strong top 10 results there too. For 2012, i have decided to compete in the Kensworth Schoolboy Motocross Club. (KSMXC) i had a range of results this season, against some strong competition.
I went to school at Loughborough Grammar School from the age of 11, until i was 16. Got all A-C's in my GCSE's and am currently doing my A-levels of Maths, English, Design and Engineering at Ashby School.
Riding Goals
I have had strong Motocross Starts for most of my motocross history. Extremely rarely this season have i been outside the top 3 into the first corner, and i feel my speed is good. I just need to work on my fitness which im putting 100% effort in to doing so this winter, ensuring im on top form allowing me to do my very fastest lap times all moto long for the british masters in 2013. I would like to get top 5 positions in the remaining 2 seasons i have left in the youth class in the AMCA British Masters.
Competitive Highlights
I guess my best racing highlights were through the 2011 motocross season, progressing through every class in one season. Even with breaking my pelvis half way through. it was my goal at the beginning of 2011 to end the season in the 'Expert' Class, and i developed my starts to ensure i was always in the top 3 into the first corner to i could be up there battling for the lead.
This season has been the first season ive been able to mix it up with the national riders. So its built my confidence and alot of my skill too in attempt to keep up with them all.
