Personal History
My name is Harley and I am 11 years old. I am a farm boy from small town Iowa. I enjoy farming with my dad and riding my dirt bike every chance I get! I am currently in 5th grade and am hoping for a fresh start this spring as I recently switched schools due to bullying issues. I am excited to meet new friends, teachers, and coaches that will support me and have high expectations for me as I reach for my goals.
I have been riding since I was 3 years old! It's in my blood! My dad, Marty, raced Supercross in 1998, my uncle Dusty, raced arenacross from 1999-2002, and my grandpa raced flat track in the '70's. Motocross is my life! I ride the 65 Sr. and 65 Open classes and I just started in the 85 Jr. class. I have also raced amateur flat track for the last 2 years. I enjoy getting to see the country as we travel a lot. We have been to Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Mississippi, Missouri, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa.
My favorite rider is Justin Brayton. He is an Iowa boy too. I got to meet him in 2017 at Riverside Raceway in Winterset, Iowa after winning in my 2 classes! I look up to him not only because of his skill as a rider but for his determination and hard work.
Riding Goals
My goals for this year are to qualify for Loretta Lynn's and race at Loretta Lynns. I want to go to a training camp this summer to work on my riding skills and to meet new friends. I also want to try new tracks with new riders to gain experience on different levels. I want to make anyone sponsoring me to be proud they chose a small town Iowa farm boy as their rider for the 2018 season!
