This weekend round 6 of the Belgian Pro Championships took place in Orp-le-Grand. Cristophe Pourcel, Jeffrey Herlings,Guernerni, Strijbos, Simpson, Jeremy van Horebeek and Joel roelants were just some of the big hitters on this event.
I qualified 17th with which I wasn't really happy, however, the laptimes were really close.
First moto I had a bad start but charged hard the first laps what brought me to a 10th after a couple of laps. I had a bunch of GP riders behind me and just in front of me, and this was the first time after my injury I was again in the pro series. So it felt great running with this guys. I finally had to go one guy and finished 11th what was awesome.
Second moto I had again a start around 20th and came back to 13th untill my exhaust broke after a blockpass. I had to quit the race and was really bummed about it.
The third and last 30min + 1l moto would be the heavyest one. I had a good start and was riding in 9th the first 15min. I had the go deep to run these guys their pace and I could'nt pick up anymore. Still some guys who were charging me the whole race passed me but I still got an 14th.
After all I was happy about this weekend. I still need some race rhythm to run the same pace the whole race. But the speed was good.
