Personal History
I'm 19 years old and live in Belgium. I started riding in the winter of 2000 and rode my first races in 2001. In 2002 and 2004 the first tittles came in the 65 and 85cc class. In 2005 I rode a couple of european championships in the 85cc class. In 2007 I debuted in the mx2 class as I was too young in 2006. I got the vice-championshiptittle there in the belgian championship schoolboy class. The year after I got the tittle in the Belgian championship national class, wich is the highest class under the pro class. That year I also got an 11th in moto 1 and DNF in moto 2 at the junior world championships in Holland, Heerde.
The year after I moved up to the mx2 pro class in Belgium and a major knee injury ruined the season. I do had 2 podiums and was selected for the european motorcross of nations for Team Belgium in Ukraine.
In 2010 again a story full of injury's however I got 2 wins in the mx2 pro class and rode my first GP for the world championship mx2 in my home GP of Lommel. I got a 26th and 28th in the moto's.
2011 I moved up to the mx1 pro class in Belgium competing against riders like Clement Desalle, Steve Ramon, Kevin strijbos, Tanel Leok, Shaun Simpson, Ken deDycker, Jeffrey Herlings, ....
My best score so far was an 11th with 2 round to go, but again, injurys made me DNF 7 of the 15 motos so far.
Riding Goals
2012 I want to ride without injurys as this had been the biggest problem the last 3 years. We are still looking for a program but I will definetly participate to the MX3 world championship and a couple of mx1 world championships. However, I am interested in doing nationals to.
