Personal History
In 2013 at the age of just 4, I got my first dirt bike, a Honda crf50. My parents put training wheels on it and I rode it all around our property for upwards of 2 weeks before asking to have them taken off, they were reluctant but they did it. My parents video taped my first ride with no training wheels, not gonna lie, I was A LOT slower at riding with out them and my stopping needed a little work. Within a few weeks I could start off and stop on my own, pick my bike up if I fell over and I could start it with no parent help. I was off to a great start! After I was pretty confident with my riding abilities by dad took me to ride at The Rock Pile Motorsport Park in Warren, NH to practice riding with other kids. Once I got the hang of that I went to Canaan Lions Club Motocross Track where I raced three times, winning 1st place each race. The following season I got a new dirty bike, KTM 50sx and only raced in 2 races that season due to lack of racing funds but continued to ride all the time at home and at a family friends property that he had a small dirt track made. When I turned 10, I traded my bike for a Kawasaki KX65 and rode it all the time on our friends track then started riding over at Bogie Brothers MX in Barnet, VT a few times a week when I not only got better at riding, I also made a lot of new friends that I now call my family. This race season I raced a lot and I loved it so much! I raced at Canaan Lions Club Motocross Track, Rider Hill Motocross Track through the Vermont Motocross Association and raced in a series at Riverside Speedway and Adventure Park in Groveton, NH. I finished the 2020 Race season with a 1st place Championship trophy in the 65cc class, a first place Championship in the 65cc open class and a 2nd place Championship trophy riding my 65cc in the 85cc class. I took part in two AJ Catanzaro Motox Academy clinics at Bogie Brothers MX and learned so much. I made so many improvements and conquered so many obstacles and had an amazing finish. Racing is an expensive sport, this year I was lucky enough to have a family friend, Thomas S. Smth Landscaping who was able sponsor me a little bit to help cushion some the cost of me doing what I love doing most, RACING, for that I am forever grateful. I cannot wait to see what next year brings for me.
Riding Goals
My goals for the upcoming season is to be able to clear more of the bigger jumps, lean tighter to the corners and also master railing corners too. I also want to work harder on the hole shots as I did okay, but sometimes was inconsistent, even though I would catch right up to my opponents. I feel that a firmer takeoff out of the gate would push that much further ahead. I just got a new Kawasaki KX85 for Christmas and I plan to work hard on that bike as well and be able to race in both classes. I cannot wait for the 2021 Motocross season!!
Competitive Highlights
This year I took my riding to the next level. I practiced a lot more every week and I raced just about every single weekend. I entered in a series in Groveton, NH at the Riverside Speedway and Adventure Park and and won my first ever Championship in motocross. I cannot wait to see what I can accomplish this upcoming season. Look out 2021, here I come!!!
