Personal History
I was always into athletics, racing, and motors growing up. I didn't get the opportunity to put those things together until 2018 when I threw my leg over a bike for the first time. Since then, it's become more and more of a passion. I currently own a rental business in Montrose, CO called GRIT Motorsports where I specialize in providing bikes and sled for people that want to come an explore the epic areas that surround town.
Riding Goals
Simply put, I ride because it's awesome. The longer version; riding is an incredible opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, stay in shape, and connect with other people. My goal is to constantly be improving, as well as help other people improve along the way. I'd like to grow the network of riders in my area so that people always have a friend to go ride with. I also use riding to grow my business's social media and marketing outreach.
Competitive Highlights
I've been an athlete my whole life. Growing up, I was a top compeitior in both track and cross country running. I also played soccer through high school. It wasn't until my college years that I started into riding dirt bikes, but I do see a lot of cross over in these sports. The running sports taught me how to pace and push myself, as well as how to keep focused during competition. Soccer taught me how to work with a team. Now that I am on a bike, I recently put together a small team of my own, and finished 14th out of 33 people in my very first race ever. Looking forward to improving for next year.
