Personal History
I am 56 years young and I have 2 kids and 2 grandkids. I have a loving wife of 33 years who puts up with this time and money consuming hobby. I work for HMT tank service building tanks for refineries and plants in my home area. I also work on cars, dirt bikes, atv, and pretty much anything with a motor in my spare time. I own a private track 30 minutes from my house that serves as a nice training facility. My family is my life. My oldest daughter is my biggest cheerleader and will always tell me that I did amazing. My youngest daughter is my right hand man she is my mechanic, trainer, PR person, and most of all my biggest fan. We go to every race together and we are the dynamic duo. My wife goes to every race she can and supports me in everything I do no matter how much money it cost. My granddaughters are at the track as much as they can be and the oldest will start riding very soon.
Riding Goals
I ride because its something I have loved for majority of my life and it is something I can do with my entire family. I ride because it helps me stay young and active. I race because I love the feeling of being on the starting gate waiting for the gate drop and giving my all every single race.
Competitive Highlights
I qualified for Loretta Lynn National Championship in 2013 in the Masters 50+ class and finished the week at 19th of 30 riders. This has to be the biggest highlight of my racing life because it is a huge honor to qualify for this race and an even bigger honor to come out of the race healthy and a top 20 finish.
