Personal History

My name is Gregory Kirby and I am 14 years old.  I live in Denver, NC and am in  the 9th grade.  I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 5 years old when I got my first dirt bike for Christmas, it was a Honda CRF70F.  I have wanted to race competitively for many years and it took me until I was 12 to convince my parents.  My first race was May 5th, 2012 at Daniels Ridge in Taylorsville, NC. I raced 9 races during the 2012 Spring/ Summer series and finshed 5th overall in points.  I placed 2nd in points in the Victory Sports Ultra Series for 2013 in the 85D class. I am currently racing in the 85cc 11-13 class.

When I am not on the track, I like riding my BMX bike and hanging out with friends going to the mall or movies. My family is very important to me.  Without my parents support I wouldn't be able to race and I know they sacrifice a lot for me to race.

I know school is important and as long as I continue with good grades, my parents will support me racing.

Update: April 2014: I have been focusing on my riding skills and techniques and recently spent a month at South of the Border training intense training.

Riding Goals

My goal is to be the best that I can be.  I would like to win a Regional and National Championship and I realize that takes a lot of practice and focus.  I have taken many weeks of training during this past summer as well as previous training and hope to be able to take more lessons and even private lessons to help me improve.
