Personal History
In 1984, I was born into a motocross family. My dad is the person who influenced me in the sport of motocross. He was a local champion (SRAC) with several #1 plates in both Vet and Senior Pro classes. He has been riding and racing since the 70's. My dad is the person who taught me everything I know and gave me my passion for motocross. My older brother is a local pro rider who gets good results every week. I first stepped foot onto a PW50 at age 5 and began racing at age 7. However, due to severe injuries at a very young age I was forced to quit. My focus then turned to other sports. Throughout high school, my main focus was playing varsity basketball and tennis. While in college, I played 4 years college tennis with 2 years All Conference 2nd team and 1 year All Conference 1st team. Although I was not riding or racing in my teenage years, I never lost my passion for motocross. I watched and attended several national and local races every year. At age 20, I bought a 1998 YZ250 and reignited my passion for riding motocross. Since I started riding again, I have only been able to race a few events over the years due to 1st schooling and then work! However, I plan on racing my 1st entire motocross season (SRAC) since I was a kid. I look forward to having good results and making the podium week in week out. I believe with the right support I can place my brand new 2014 Yamaha YZ450f on the top step of the podium!
Riding Goals
1. 1st and foremost stay healthy every week
2. Race every SRAC race in 2017
3. Finish every race
4. Podium as much as possible
5. Win my 1st race since I was a kid
6. Finish Top 5 in points
Competitive Highlights
I have only been able to attend a few events since I started riding again 10 years ago. However, as a kid, I had several race wins in the 50 class. My best result in my adult years was a 5th in 2005. I plan on being able to write an entire page of highlights in my adult racing career by the end of 2017! I know I have the passion and talent to win several races.
